Beachfest Show n Shine - Day 1
If you’re a lover of classic cars, vintage vibes, and coastal charm, then the Beachfest weekend in Caloundra is your dream come true.
The 'Show n Shine' days span over two glorious days: Saturday 31 May and Sunday 1 June 2025. This is where the heart of Beachfest beats loudest, with polished chrome, roaring engines, and a whole lot of people enjoying the view.
Saturday 31 May – Show n Shine Day 1 + Pinup Pageant
From 8am to 2pm, the Caloundra CBD and Esplanade will be transformed into a living museum of motoring history. Rows upon rows of meticulously restored classics, hot rods, muscle cars, and cruisers gleaming under the Queensland sun. Whether you’re a die-hard enthusiast or just love a good photo op, it's a magical site seeing these machines lined up against the backdrop of Caloundra's playground.
The vibe? Electric. The streets are buzzing with car lovers, families, photographers, and curious passersby. You’ll hear stories from proud owners, see kids wide-eyed at the size of a 1950s Cadillac, and maybe even spot a few vintage outfits to match the era of the cars.
From 2pm to 4pm, head over to the Caloundra Hotel for the Beachfest Pinup Pageant 2025. Retro fashion, confidence, and flair and it's finest! Expect big hair, bold lipstick, and even bolder personalities as contestants strut their stuff in true vintage style. It’s a crowd favourite and a perfect way to keep the energy rolling into the afternoon.
Beachfest Downunder - Changed Traffic Conditions
To accommodate a safe event footprint, road closures affecting the following streets will be in place on:
Wednesday 28th May | 3– 10pm Street Party 5–8pm
-Bulcock Street between (Otranto Ave & Minchinton Street)
Saturday 31st May | 5am to 2:30pm: Show n Shine Car Show Day 1
-Otranto Ave between Omrah Ave & The Esplanade
-Bulcock Street between Knox Ave & Tay Ave.
-Minchinton Street between Leeding Tce. & Omrah Ave.
-The Esplanade, from Maloja Ave., to Minchinton Street, and on to the Happy Valley car park on Bulcock Beach.
Sunday 1st June | 6am to 12:30pm: Show n Shine Car Show Day 2
-Otranto Ave and Esplanade, from the entrance to Breakwater Grand Pacific, to Minchinton Street
(Please note: the weekly Sunday closure of Bulcock Street (and cross streets) for the Caloundra Street Fair will be in place along with the additional Beachfest event closures)
