Beachfest SuperCruise
Feel the vibration from the rumble of a classic engines on Friday 29 May 2026 in Caloundra. The Beachfest SuperCruise is back - and it’s bringing the noise, the nostalgia, and the horsepower to the streets of our town.
From 5pm to 8pm, the Caloundra CBD and Esplanade will transform into a tribute of classic car culture. As the sun sets the streets will be lined with spectators, and the unmistakable growl of engines will echo through town as hundreds of classic cars make their way around the circuit.
Road closure: A key change to the event this year is that the precinct will include road closures for the SuperCruise route, which are enforced be Queensland Police Services. The event is open to entrants of the Downunder Beachfest event, the general public will not be able to enter their vehicles, however are very welcome to line the streets to spectate as usual.

Event timing: 5pm - 8pm
Road closures will be in place: 4.30pm - 10pm
The route is designed for maximum impact - and maximum admiration. Whether you’re a die-hard car enthusiast or just love a good community buzz, this is one of those events that makes you stop, stare, and smile.
Locals and visitors are encouraged to line the streets early, grab a spot, get some dinner and settle in for the show. Bring a chair, bring your camera, and bring your appetite - because the CBD will be buzzing with food options. From street eats to sit-down dinners, there’s no better excuse to make a night of it. Grab a bite, soak up the atmosphere, and let the rumble of the engines set the tone.
Kids will be waving their favourites from the footpath, Dad's pointing out their dream cars, the old-school rock ‘n’ roll playing from open windows, and the shared appreciation for classic cars.
This annual ritual is a highlight of the Beachfest series of events, and for good reason. It’s loud, it’s proud, and it’s purely classic. Whether you’re watching from the sidelines or a registrant cruising behind the wheel, the Super Cruise is a celebration of everything we love about this town - its energy, its people, and its passion for the classics.
