This free community event will be an evening filled with live music, interactive activities, face painting, a night market, local cuisine, the lighting of the grand Christmas tree, late night trading and, of course, the opportunity to experience the festive season with your family! Here's what you can expect 👇

Spin into Fun: Free Tea Cup Ride

Don't miss out on the free kids' ride, the Tea Cup Ride, operating from 4pm to 8pm at the top of Bulcock Street, right next to Strand Cinemas. This delightful attraction is perfect for the little ones, offering spinning colorful fun that will have them giggling with joy.
To make the most of this whimsical experience, be sure to beat the lines and get there early. The Tea Cup Ride will add a dash of magic to your evening!

Aussie World Characters Bring Extra Cheer

Could the event get more fun?! Aussie World characters are joining us at our Christmas Street Party, bringing an immense amount of energy and excitement! They'll be there for the official lighting of the grand Christmas Tree at 7:30pm - don't miss it. Throughout the evening interact the characters as they rove the event, and learn about their own Christmas event coming up! You're invited to Aussie World's Christmas Spectacular on Saturday, 13 December 2025, for a night of festive fun featuring unlimited rides, dazzling Christmas lights, enchanting entertainment, carols, and so much more.

Kick Off the Festivities: Local Talent Styrofoam!

We're thrilled to have local band Styrofoam opening the Christmas Street Party event! A local, upcoming punk rock band based from Chancellor State college.

Groove into the Night with BLAND Band

Back for their second ever street party in Caloundra, BLAND is an all-original high energy junior rock/metal band from the Sunshine Coast, consisting of 5 members.
Together BLAND creates all original music with a strong bass and drums section. They have carefully crafted deep meaningful lyrics, headbanging riffs and heavy stage presence. Inspired by bands like Metallica, Linkin Park, Pantera, Megadeth and others from that era, BLAND has a unique sound captivating audiences throughout their many performances across the Sunshine Coast.
Their high-energy performance is sure to leave everyone matching BLAND's energy.

Capture the Magic: FREE Santa Selfies at Christmas Tree Lane

Santa is sponsored by the legends at Bells on Main community group and will be located amongst all the bright, colorful, and wonderful trees of Christmas Tree Lane inside the Strand Arcade from 4pm to 7pm. Bring your family along, sit on Santa's lap, and snap a free fun family selfie. While you're there, take a leisurely stroll through the Christmas Trees, beautifully positioned by local businesses, and soak in the Christmas spirit. It's the perfect way to capture a fun, no cost Santa pic with your family.

The Christmas Jam Stage

Hosted by the incredible Bells on Main team, the Christmas Jam Stage is set to be a highlight of the event, featuring an array of talented musicians. Enjoy performances from Chloe - Caloundra Music Academy, BELLS Jam Group, Uke Group, KWUC Choir Group, CMA Students, Duo: Time Bomb, and a cute Violin Duo: Kenneth and Karolina. This stage embodies the community spirit of BELLS on Main, a small local Uniting Church community. Located in Caloundra’s main street, BELLS on Main also hosts a variety of community activities, including a homework hub, book club, and jam sessions.

The Official Lighting of the Tree

Standing tall in Felicity Park, it's a sparkling showstopper, decked out in shimmering silver and blue baubles, wrapped in meters of twinkling fairy lights, and crowned with a star so bright it could guide Santa himself. 

This beauty will be officially lit at the Christmas Street Party. Be sure to mingle around the tree at 7.30pm, ready for the lights to shine bright.

Dazzling Performances by Sunshine Coast Twirling Academy

The Sunshine Coast Twirling Academy are bringing their dazzling talents to the Christmas Street Party! Specializing in baton twirling, dance, and acrobatics, this group welcomes all ages and ability levels, offering a free trial for anyone interested in joining their incredible team. Their performances are a fun and engaging highlight of the event, so be sure to head to the top of Bulcock Street, near the Cinema, to watch them perform at 5pm, 5:30pm, and 6pm, right near the Bells on Main: The Christmas Jam stage. Don't miss the chance to see their amazing skills in action and maybe even get inspired to join in the fun!

Explore an Enchanting Christmas Night Market

It wouldn't be a Street Party without a night market! Run by the legends who bring you the Sunday Street Fair, Twilight Markets, and Aura Farmers Markets in Caloundra, stallholders book out the market in record time. The street will be lined with twinkling lights, the air filled with the scent of delicious food, and stalls galore.

The night market is a treasure trove of delights, featuring stalls packed with artisan gifts and local treasures. Whether you're hunting for unique Christmas presents or just want to treat yourself, you'll find something special here. Aerial Energy are locals that offer aerial acrobatics classes for kids and adults aged 5 years and above. Whether you're a complete beginner or looking to refine your skills, their classes welcome all levels. It's a fantastic opportunity to try something new and exciting, and who knows, you might discover a hidden talent! Adding to the festive cheer the Sunshine Coast Performing Arts College (SCPAC) dancers are set to dazzle the crowd! SCPAC Dance Studios in Caloundra are on a mission to provide strong, confident dancers through quality dance education. They pride themselves on having a leading teaching faculty combined with first-class facilities, ensuring every dancer receives top-notch training. All SCPAC staff promote an exciting and friendly experience in a professional and safe environment. The SCPAC dance team are sassy and ever so entertaining – they'll have you bopping and dancing from your vantage spot. Feel the Festive Spirit with Sunshine Coast Show Choir!

We're thrilled to welcome the Sunshine Coast Show Choir groups to our Christmas Street Party! Helping students of any age learn to express themselves through music, singing, and dance, these ladies are a beacon of creativity and joy. Split into two large groups, these delightful singers will be gracing us with their presence as they rove Bulcock Street. Led by the wonderful Jen Young, owner of Sunshine Coast Show Choir, their performances always add a magical touch to the evening. Be sure to catch their enchanting melodies and feel the festive spirit come alive!

Angel Voices Charm the Crowd!

The Golden Beach State School Performance Team, featuring both Junior and Senior groups, will be gracing Bulcock Street with their angelic voices and adorable presence.
As they rove the event, these talented students will fill the air with your favorite carols, adding a heartwarming touch to the festivities. Be sure to stop and listen to their beautiful renditions while you browse the event.
Their performances are sure to bring smiles to faces and spread holiday cheer throughout the night.

Starz Dance Academy Join the Party!

Starz Dance Academy join us for their first Street Party in Caloundra. Owner Tamara teaches ages 5-18 years to dance in various styles - from tap, ballet, jazz and acrobatics. Wanting to introduce the incredibly talented kids to more performance opportunities, the bouncy group are popping up at our festive fair on Friday!

Tunes to bop to 

Local performers Selks, and the Danica Rose band from Chancellor State College will be bringing the tunes for you to bop the evening away to.
Shane from Selks will be performing with his accoustic guitar at the event!
Danica's band will be will be performing for the first time together at the Caloundra Christmas Street Party - they will be performing the likes of Dreams by Fleetwood mac and the White Stripes.

Blazing Into Caloundra: A Dance Debut You Can’t Miss!

Sunshine Coast Fire Dance Academy make their debut at Caloundra's Christmas Street Party! Dance extraordinaires, the group will be performing variations from the Nutcracker and 2 short group dances, also from the Nutcracker.
Sunshine Coast Fire Dance Academy are based at Peregian Beach College, offering dedicated, high-quality training for aspiring dancers. Their program focuses on strong technical foundations, creative development, and performance excellence across classical, contemporary, and modern disciplines.  They are committed to nurturing confident, versatile, and expressive artists through quality training, performance opportunities, and mentorship from experienced industry professionals.

Free Face Painting Fun!

Add a splash of colour to your Christmas celebration! Our talented face painters are ready to transform little faces into festive masterpieces, think sparkling snowflakes to cheeky reindeer. The best thing: it’s completely FREE!
Tip: Arrive early to beat the queues  - this is one of the most popular attractions! You’ll find face painting stations at multiple locations throughout the event from 4pm - 8pm, so keep an eye out and let the creativity begin!
