Keeping the community spirit alive

The Caloundra RSL Services Club are proud to give back to the Sunshine Coast community that supports them.

Their commitment to local clubs, individuals, and organisations helps strengthen the cultural, sporting, and community spirit that defines our region. Through financial sponsorships, in-kind contributions, and community raffles, they truly are the heart of the community.

This commitment to the Sunshine Coast community has allowed the Club to sponsor the local community in order of over $400,000 for their respective events and organisations over the last twelve months.

“We know that helping these organisations provide their services means our community members have places to enjoy their different interests or hobbies and brings people together,” says General Manager Graeme Devin.

It’s integral to the RSL that local organisations benefit from the success of the club, whether it’s a small local team needing a few new uniforms or a larger charity supporting the wider Sunshine Coast community - Caloundra RSL is dedicated to making meaningful change.

“We’re proud to be sponsoring all walks of life here on the coast to keep the community spirit alive,” explains Mr Devin, “this year we’re helping many integral Sunshine Coast fundraising events come to life, including the Wishlist Foundation’s annual Giving Day and the 2026 Steps for Steps walking challenge.”

Another way the RSL are making change is through inviting members of the community to participate in Friday Night Community Raffles, the net proceeds from these raffles are donated to a local individual or organisation involved in culture, sport, or community services. By participating, you’re not just enjoying the night but also supporting your neighbours and community.

“Our Friday Night Community raffles help get these people into the RSL and experience our venue for themselves. Our goal is to let people know that our club is for everyone - we want to show our commitment to providing a safe, enjoyable place for entertainment and dining. If we can help give back in the process, it’s a no-brainer,” Mr Devin says.

Local schools, clubs and groups are encouraged to apply for sponsorship support directly on Caloundra RSL’s website.
