Caloundra's young artists take centre stage
Seeing a community through the eyes of its young people - it's something innocently special.

From colourful interpretations of the coast we call home to thoughtful works that challenge perspectives, inspire conversation and showcase incredible creativity, the annual Caloundra SHS Art Exhibition highlights local talent, and imagination.
Once again, Caloundra State High School and Caloundra RSL are proudly joining forces to present this much-loved exhibition, giving residents and visitors the opportunity to experience an impressive collection of student artwork created across all year levels.
The exhibition is a meaningful way to spend a few hours in town, offering a wonderful chance to connect with the next generation of Sunshine Coast creatives.
The exhibition highlights the dedication, skill and creativity of Caloundra SHS students, with works spanning a variety of styles, mediums and artistic approaches. It's a rare opportunity to see the breadth of talent emerging from our young local community and to support artists as they share their work with the public, many for the first time.
Some artworks will be available for purchase, providing visitors with the opportunity to take home an original piece while supporting student creativity.
To celebrate the conclusion of the exhibition, the community is warmly invited to attend a special morning tea at Caloundra RSL's Aura Restaurant. Raffle tickets will be available for purchase during the event, with three stunning artworks up for grabs. These unique pieces have been created by the school's talented art teachers and Principal, making them special additions to any home or office.
