The Halloween Party before Elm Street
Halloween comes alive at Moffat Beach, with a free afternoon of family fun, live entertainment and spooky celebrations. Enjoy free face painting, DJ Mr Sparkles, a Halloween Costume Parade, and flash mob performances, before the high-energy Mad Mariachi Band rounds out the evening.
This Halloween, Seaview Terrace will transform into a vibrant hub of music, entertainment and spooky fun as the Moffat Beach Street Party returns for an afternoon of family-friendly activities.
Presented in collaboration with local businesses and the much-loved Elm Street Halloween celebrations, the event will be the perfect opportunity to enjoy all that Moffat Beach has to offer before continuing the Halloween adventure through one of the Sunshine Coast's most iconic neighbourhood traditions.
The festivities kick off from 3pm with free face painting, Antares Entertainment Flow workshops and live music from DJ Mr Sparkles, creating the perfect atmosphere for families to settle in and enjoy the afternoon. Make sure you come dressed in your best Halloween costumes and get ready for the Halloween Costume Parade at 4pm, with categories and prizes for participants of all ages.
The Moffat Beach Street Party Halloween Costume Parade is open to everyone, with categories:
-Little Monsters (0-5yrs)
-Spooky Superstars (6-10yrs)
-Halloween Heros (11yrs and up)
-Frightnight Crew (Groups/Family)
Adding to the excitement, surprise flash mob performances from Sunshine Coast Performing Arts College and Neon Boots will bring colour, energy and entertainment to Seaview Terrace throughout the event.
The celebrations will continue with a performance from the ever-popular Mad Mariachi Band from 5.30pm. Known for their infectious energy and crowd-pleasing repertoire, they're sure to have the audience singing, dancing and celebrating into the evening.
With local dining, entertainment, family activities and community all in one location, the Moffat Beach Street Party: Halloween is the perfect way to start your Halloween celebrations before heading off to experience the famous Elm Street displays and trick-or-treating festivities....or perhaps you will stay to soak up the evening entertainment.
