Halloween At Moffat Beach? Start On Seaview Terrace

There are a few things locals know to be true. The surf is best checked before work, everyone comes out of the woodwork on a sunny weekend, and when Halloween rolls around, Elm Street absolutely comes alive.

For many families, a visit to Elm Street on Halloween has become a Moffat Beach tradition. The residents go all out, transforming their homes with incredible decorations and creating memorable experiences for local families.

This year, the crew at Seaview Terrace are helping to get the celebrations started with the Moffat Beach Halloween Street Party on Saturday 31 October from 3pm to 8pm. Before heading into Elm Street for an evening of trick-or-treating, gather the family on Seaview Terrace for an afternoon of food, entertainment and Halloween fun.

The street party is free to attend and has been designed as the perfect lead-in to the evening's festivities. Grab an early dinner from one of the precinct's cafés, restaurants or bars, enjoy live music, get involved in the entertainment and let the kids burn off some energy before the serious lolly collecting begins.

There'll be free face painting throughout the afternoon for every witch, superhero, vampire or something in between - complete their look before heading out to trick-or-treat.

You cannot miss the Halloween Costume Parade! With categories for kids, dogs, families and groups. There are no complicated entry requirements. Just show up in your costume and join the fun.

Families can also complete the Trick-or-Treat Trail through participating Seaview Terrace businesses, with plenty of Halloween surprises along the way. It's a fun way to explore the precinct, support local businesses and get into the Halloween spirit.

Whilst you're out and about in Moffat Beach in the lead up to these epic Halloween events, spare a packet of lollies or two for the residents of Elm Street!

The reason Halloween has become such a beloved tradition at Moffat Beach is because local families throw themselves into it each year. Their decorations are next level, their generosity is endless, and they help create an experience that thousands of people enjoy.

To help support the residents, the team at The Pocket Espresso Bar are collecting donations of bags of lollies that will be shared with participating Elm Street households. If you'd like to contribute, drop into The Pocket and lend a hand. Every little bit helps make the night a great experience for everyone.

So get cracking with your costume organising, so you can make an afternoon of Halloween.

Start with the Moffat Beach Halloween Street Party, enjoy everything Seaview Terrace has to offer, and then head over to Elm Street to experience one of Moffat Beach's favourite community traditions.
