Christmas Tree Lane, hosted by the iconic Strand Arcade in the heart of Caloundra CBD is an enchanting display of Christmas trees spiraling from the ground floor to the top of the building, creating a magical walkway that you simply must visit this holiday season.
Local businesses in Caloundra have truly outdone themselves, each setting up their own unique tree that reflects the essence of their brand. The result? A festive wonderland that’s as diverse as it is delightful. From quirky and colorful trees to sustainable ones, and even trees made from building scaffolding or paper, there's something to marvel at around every corner.
Christmas Tree Lane was officially opened on 19 November 2024, by Mayor Rosanna Natoli, Councillor Terry Landsberg, and a host of local businesses. The opening event, kicking off the festive season officially, has set the tone for what promises to be a momentous couple of months celebrating Christmas in the Playground by the Sea.
As you stroll through this festive treat, keep an eye out for special deals and giveaways hidden among the trees. It's worth taking your time to explore each one. Our tip? Grab an ice cream, enjoy a leisurely lunch at one of the nearby cafes, or catch a film at the cinema, and make a day of it.
The kids will absolutely love the variety of trees on display. There are trees adorned with monumental bows, luxury trees, and even some that are beautifully simple yet striking. Whether you're a local or just visiting, Christmas Tree Lane is a must-see.

The Christmas festivities have just begun for Caloundra. The grand community Christmas Tree will be installed in Felicity Park (near the Caloundra Regional Gallery and Library) on Monday 25 November ready for the Caloundra Christmas Street Party - the event of the year from 4pm Friday 29 November 2024.
Caloundra businesses are all in for Christmas this year, with many participating in the Christmas Decoration Competition making the CBD a bright, colourful and festive treat to wander.
Head into the CBD for a morning of singing and cheer at the Caloundra Carols in the CBD event from 9am on Saturday 14 December.
