Winter Wunderland: Performance times

A fun evening filled with street performances, kids rides, interactive activities, face painting, a winter market, local cuisine, and the rare opportunity to experience [fake] snow in our beachside town is upon us from 4pm Friday 20 June 2025! This street stopping event is free for all, from the young to the young at heart.

Our playground by the sea usually endures a short lived winter, the perfect opportunity to embrace the magic of a Winter Wunderland! Keep reading to see how the event will unfold, it's jam packed with fun!👇

Get hands on with a FESTURI Drumming Workshop in Bulcock Street, Caloundra!
The team at FESTURI bring together people to celebrate and value cultural and linguistic diversity by encouraging the participation of the whole community in FESTURI festivals and events.
You'll be popping to the beat with the opportunity to join one of three drumming workshops at Winter Wunderland.
FESTURI will be bringing laughter, joy, movement & rhythm to our main street.
TIP: Arrive early for your spot in the workshop.

We are thrilled to announce that the Festuri along with Toria Mason & Burning Fire band, drums and fire twirlers will be bringing their extraordinary skills to Winter Wunderland for the evenings finale.
Witness breathtaking displays of fire dancing and twirling, as the mesmerizing movements light up the night sky and Bulcock Street. Be there to cheer them on.

Aerial Energy - dedicated to '’transcending the ordinary’ by providing unique and exciting opportunities for students that go beyond studio training and into the world of performance, competitions and events.
Whether you are an adrenaline buff, a circus arts enthusiast, or someone seeking fitness and wellbeing in a warm community, Aerial Energy is your go to. 
We can't wait to see the team twirled up in silk, and graciously spinning back down to the ground at Winter Wunderland. Don't miss the daring aerial silk, hammock, rope, and lyra displays.

Take your own winter craft souvenir home from Winter Wunderland!
Your littlies can enjoy free crafty fun, creating some special little treasures to remember our fun event through.
The workshops are recommended for ages 5-12 and are located in Felicity Park, (near the Library and Gallery).
Tip: ensure you arrive early to grab your spot in the workshop.

Not only will you be enchanted by the festive atmosphere and exciting activities, but you'll have the opportunity to enjoy Late Night Retail along the vibrant Bulcock Street shopping strip.

Take some 'me' time while the family are immersed in the magic of Winter Wunderland. Stop by the likes of Bulcock Street Bazaar, Candy Tree, Caloundra Bakery and Thali Dhaba restaurant. The Sunshine Chocolatier are offering Winter Wunderland attendees one free takeaway hot chocolate (made with full cream milk, valued at $6) with any in-store purchase over $50.
Rayanna is lighting up Winter Wonderland with a special after-dark sip & shop! Open until 8pm with cosy vibes, winter style, and a pop-up floral bar by House of Flowers Golden Beach. Swing by for a festive fizz, fresh blooms, and fashion that’ll warm you right up.

We are Queenslanders who enjoy getting out and about during our perfect Winter days. Lucky for us, we have some incredible foodie highlights that you need to experience. Go where the locals go, and enjoy the delectable cuisine on offer. Here are some to take your fancy:

It's not something we normally see on the Sunshine Coast, however at our special Winter Wunderland event you are guaranteed to see [fake] snow!! Snow will be falling throughout the event timing. You can witness a light fluttering of snow and bubbles throughout the event.

Get ready to witness the electrifying and jaw-dropping performances of the Sunshine Coast Performing Arts College dance group! We're thrilled to announce the inclusion of these energetic kids, performing fun flash mob dances at the event. Their performances are a delightful fusion of colors, music, and movements. With their precision choreography and energetic routines, this incredible dance group will take your breath away and have you dancing from your vantage point. SCPAC offer Dance, Drama, Vocal, Acrobatic & Aerial classes for students as young as 18 months old. Catering to the recreational student, through to those who are looking for a career in the Performing Arts. Check out more about their amazing talents here.

Get ready to laugh, and cheer with the Coastal Caring Clowns! We're thrilled to announce the inclusion of this amazing volunteer group in our lineup of exciting performers. These talented individuals strive to bring joy, laughter, and comfort to not only children but to adults as well, and they're sure to put on an unforgettable show. With hilarious skits, crowd interaction, and sing-alongs, the Coastal Caring Clowns will have you smiling from ear to ear. Check out more about their incredible work and mission here. They're bubbly, they're cute - They're popular to boot!
Sunshine Coast Allstars will be bouncing around our Winter Wunderland event performing roving stunts from start to finish - this team is all about Cheerleading, Hip Hop, Dance and Tumble/Gymnastics.
Beyond the pom poms, twirls, and bright colours these talented young athletes are learning valuable life skills in their craft such as discipline, time management, leadership and sportsmanship that serve a lifetime.

Expect performances of baton twirling with glow sticks and fire batons, along with elements of dance and acrobatics!
Sunshine Coast Twirling Academy is a premier sports organisation dedicated to dance, acrobatics, and baton twirling. The legends who run Caloundra Street Fair, Twilight Markets and the new Aura Farmers and Twilight Markets will be gracing us with their large range of boutique gifts, artisan products and local specialties at our Winter Wunderland event.
You'll be able to wander and weave through the markets whilst enjoying the roving artists and pop up entertainment hubs throughout the event.
The night market will be live and ready from 4pm through to 8pm as the event comes to a close.

Caloundra Regional Gallery will be open late through Felicity Park, featuring live music, a cash bar, and FREE craft activities for kids. Don't miss the opportunity to explore our latest exhibition while you're there!

Your little ones' faces light up with joy as they transform into their favorite Winter Wunderland characters. A family selfie will be called for! Our artists for the evening will be painting little faces to their hearts content.
